Why Volunteer?

Make a Difference Where It Matters Most

Volunteering with MMBTS goes beyond giving back to the trails – it’s about creating a lasting impact on the mountain biking community and the environment. As a volunteer, you’ll join a passionate group of individuals dedicated to advocating for, developing, and maintaining the trail networks on Moose Mountain, Prairie Mountain, and the surrounding areas.

Here’s why your time and skills matter:

  • Strengthen Community Connections: Build relationships with like-minded individuals who share your passion for mountain biking and the outdoors.

  • Support Trail Sustainability: Help maintain and improve trails for riders of all levels while promoting environmentally responsible recreation.

  • Shape the Future of Riding: Be part of strategic initiatives like trail planning, equity and inclusion efforts, and community advocacy.

  • Develop New Skills: Gain experience in areas like event coordination, leadership, fundraising, and communications.

  • Give Back to the Sport You Love: Your efforts help ensure that our trail network thrives for generations to come.

Whether you’re supporting a race, joining a committee, or stepping into a leadership role, your involvement ensures the success of MMBTS’ mission to promote active, fun, and inclusive mountain biking experiences.
